ANNOUNCING THE 2009 ART KUDOS EXHIBITION...

We are very excited to announce that Travis R. Christopher’s new sculpture, “Prototype 2718”, has been included in the much-anticipated opening of the 2009 Art Kudos International Exhibition.
This year 132 artists representing 15 countries (Australia, Canada, China, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, and the United States) were accepted into the show.
Award selections were made by Scott Canty. He has been an Art Curator with the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department since 1986 and has curated/directed more than 170 exhibitions throughout his career. Currently, he is Senior Curator for exhibition programs at the Los Angeles and Ontario Airports, Curator at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Art Park, and the City Hall Bridge Gallery as well as the Director for the Cultural Affairs Department Slide Registry, an important resource for California artists, curators, gallery owners, art consultants, developers, librarians, college and university professors, film studios and artists. In addition, Canty is Director of Exhibitions at the Palos Verdes Art Center in Rancho Palos Verdes, California where his duties include organizing all exhibition projects throughout the Art Center's galleries: Beckstrand, Collectors and the Norris Gallery.

Art Kudos is an annual international juried competition. Finalists benefit from world-wide exposure and have the opportunity to win cash awards for their exemplary work.
